Springfield Celebrates Authors 2022

Springfield Celebrates Authors is back for 2022 with a whole slate of fantastic authors!  Starting in January, and pairing with the University of Oregon Common Reading Program, patrons can receive a free copy of Robin Wall Kimmer's 'Braiding Sweetgrass', while stocks last (UPDATE: All copies have been claimed).  There is also the opportunity to attend a Virtual book club as well as an Author talk.

In February, author Danuta Pfeiffer will be in the library with her book 'Libertas' and in March, Kesha Ajose Fisher will present her book 'No God Like The Mother' which won the 2020 Oregon Book Awards Ken Kesey Award for Fiction.  In April the library continues its partnership with Literary Arts in Portland to bring Oregon Book Award nominees to Springfield.  These three events will also be presented in a Hybrid format.

Springfield Celebrates Authors is presented annually and brings in a range of local, national and international authors for live book talks/signing events. If you are interested in past events and authors, have a look at the YouTube video playlist below!
