Springfield Public Library has many options for your entertainment. The Books & More section of our website will help you find the next great story for your enjoyment. Discover new favorites and share some old.

Video Games

Borrow video games for the Wii, WiiU, Switch, PS2, PS3, PS4, XBOX360 and XBOXONE!  There is a limit of one Video Game per library card and they check out for one week at a time.

Theme Kits

Explore the world from your home with our Theme Kits.  Each curated kit contains a mix of books, CDs, DVDs, Games and manipulatives. Explore continents, seasons, different languages, animals, occupations and more. 

Always Available

Boardgames, Puzzles, Lego, S.T.E.A.M toys and more are ALWAYS AVAILABLE to be used in the youth services department.  Sign one out with the librarian at the Youth Services desk and bring it back when you are ready to leave!

Play and Learn Activity Center

A highlight of the youth services department, this activity center builds learning through play.  How is it set-up today?  Will you be an astronaut, a paleontologist, a vet or a renowned chef?  Visit us to find out!

Teen Board Games

Hang out in the Teen Space and play chess, checkers, cards, Scrabble, Sorry or Battleship.
