Besides the immediate threat to health and well being COVID-19 has complicated many of the challenges of daily life. People may require assistance with basic food and housing needs and families face school and child care problems they did not have pre-COVID. Even filing tax returns is harder. This collection of community resources can help you find the help you need.
Databases are reliable online sources for information and research. The Springfield Public Library subscribes to a wide variety of database services.

Because the Library is in City Hall, we are working with other City departments to determine safe protocols for reopening fully. We want to ensure that we are following state guidelines in order to help put an end to the spread of the virus and to protect library staff and the public. We will be sharing information about reopening as soon as we have a plan to do so safely.
