Phase One Reopening Plan

We are beginning to gradually reopen the library starting Monday, May 18, 2020.  Safety is our top priority, and we appreciate your patience and understanding. Questions? Call 541-726-3766 or email library@springfield-or.gov.  Phones are answered 10:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Saturday.

STEP 1

starts May 18, 2020

  • We continue to be open online 24/7 at wheremindsgrow.org
  • Book drop under the Library reopens May 18, 2020.
    • Materials will be slow to check-in due to quarantine procedures.
    • Only return items checked out from the Springfield Public Library.
    • Library & City Hall still closed to the public.
  • We are not accepting donations at this time.

STEP 2

starts May 27, 2020

  • Offsite book drop at Splash! at Lively Park will reopen Wednesday, May 27, 2020.
  • The Library & City Hall building remains closed to the public.

STEP 3

starts June 3, 2020

  • If you have received a Hold Notice saying your item is available, curbside/walk-up pickup for physical materials begins June 3, between 1-3pm, Monday-Saturday!
  • Call us for full details. We are excited to offer this service and appreciate your patience as we work out the wrinkles.
  • The Library & City Hall building remains closed to the public.
